Raid: Shadow Legends F2P Resource Planning Without Waste
ENERGY PLAN Choose one account goal at a time
Raid offers campaign, dungeons, Potion Keeps, Minotaur’s Labyrinth, faction content, arena, and limited-time events. Trying to advance all of them at once spreads energy and silver too thin. Begin with a bottleneck: perhaps the campaign farmer needs a rank-up, a core debuffer needs ascension potions, or the team needs better accessories.
Write down the next useful upgrade and its requirements. Spend energy on the activity that supplies those requirements, then return to broader progression. This prevents spending a little everywhere and ending with no champion ready to improve.
Spend energy with a purpose
Campaign provides champion experience and food; dungeons provide gear and accessories; Potion Keeps supply ascension materials; Minotaur provides mastery scrolls. Each resource has a distinct job. A newly pulled champion may feel exciting, but leveling them before you have a role and gear plan can delay development of champions already carrying your account.
| Resource | Useful priority | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Energy | Farm food or a specific missing upgrade | Repeating a stage your team cannot clear efficiently |
| Silver | Equip and upgrade role-fitting artifacts | Upgrading every drop without checking stats |
| Gems | Long-term utility such as energy or valued upgrades | Spending impulsively on short-lived convenience |
| Shards | Planned summons and champion collection | Pulling without knowing which goals matter |
| Potions | Ascend core champions who need the boost | Ascending every champion immediately |
The value of a purchase changes with account level and goals. Before using gems or scarce items, compare the immediate benefit with what the resource can do later. No single recommendation is mandatory for every roster.
Protect your silver
Silver disappears through artifact upgrades, accessories, and other systems. Inspect the main stat and substats before investing. Useful Speed, Accuracy, and critical-stat pieces can help many champions, while a poor item may not deserve further upgrades even if it has a set bonus. Sell surplus gear when clearly inferior.
Upgrade in stages. Equip a promising item, test the champion, and continue investing only if the role works better. Do not rebuild everyone whenever a new drop appears. Keep track of pieces supporting Clan Boss, arena, and dungeons, especially if the same champion serves several teams.
Make events fit your plan
Events and tournaments can offer useful rewards, but chasing every milestone is expensive. Read requirements first: champion training, dungeon, and summon events ask for different reserves. Participate when the activity overlaps with progress you already need, and set a stopping point before you begin. If a reward requires spending resources that would finish a key champion, compare the two benefits.
Daily quests and missions provide structure and can often be completed while progressing normally. Check objectives before claiming or spending items when an objective could be completed naturally. Keep an eye on events without assuming every one must be completed.
Keep a roster and vault policy
A F2P account benefits from organization. Keep champions who fill a role you lack, help with faction-specific content, or may have future value. Use duplicates deliberately and understand faction guardians or empowerment before consuming a champion. Avoid feeding a champion just because they are uncommon; some rares have specialist utility, and duplicates may be useful.
A weekly review helps: identify your strongest farmer, next rank-up, active Clan Boss team, and current gear bottleneck. If an activity does not contribute to one of those goals or a worthwhile reward, it can wait. F2P efficiency is not about never spending; each spend should move the account toward a clear capability.
Use a simple resource checklist
Before a major spend, check three things: whether the resource is needed for a planned upgrade, whether an event improves the value of doing it now, and whether the team can use the resulting champion or gear immediately. If one answer is no, consider waiting. This is especially useful for shards and gems, whose opportunity cost is easy to overlook when a tempting banner or offer appears.
Progress compounds. Stronger campaign farming creates food; food improves a core team; that team unlocks more efficient farming elsewhere. Maintain a small reserve for unexpected missions, but do not let hoarding prevent a useful upgrade. A deliberate budget leaves room to participate in events without sacrificing the account’s most important bottleneck.
