Invokers: Titan Legacy & Tiles Survive: Early Access Impressions & Beginner Tips

TWO NEW HITS
By Alex Rivers • 4 min read

Two newer titles caught our attention this month, and both reward players who plan ahead rather than rush. We spent a week with each, and here are our early impressions plus the habits that helped most.

Tiles Survive

Tiles Survive is a survival builder where every decision about space and supplies matters. The first hours are about stability, not expansion.

  • Prioritise resource buildings early. Food and material producers compound, so every minute they run before you build anything fancy is free progress.
  • Never leave storage full for long. Production stops at the cap, which means wasted time. Upgrade storage before it fills, and collect before logging off.
  • Expand in small steps. Unlocking too many tiles at once stretches your defences and your upkeep thin.
  • Keep a small reserve. A buffer of basic resources lets you react to surprise events without selling off progress.

Invokers: Titan Legacy

Invokers: Titan Legacy is built around summoning titans and shaping a line-up around them. Early on it is easy to spread resources too thin.

  • Start with a balanced line-up. One tank-like titan, one damage dealer and one support covers most early content.
  • Invest in a single damage type first. Focused upgrades clear stages faster than a little of everything, and you can diversify once the first build is solid.
  • Save upgrade materials for titans you will actually keep, rather than the first ones you summon.

Which one should you try first?

If you enjoy slow, careful base planning, start with Tiles Survive. If you prefer collecting and team building, pick Invokers. Both are free to start, so a short session of each is the best way to decide.
